Consists of 19 plans bound in hard backed book type, of buildings in Hastings.
The inside cover has a key to signs and terminology used throughout the book.

Consists of a street plan of Hastings Central Business District showing the area from Heretaunga Street East, St Aubyn Street East to Tomoana Road and Charles street.
Each sheet shows individual buildings and the occupiers names. Noted is the type of structure eg - concrete, brick, wood etc.
