Brief Description
Plan, titled: Council of Fire and Accident Underwriters Association of New Zealand - Block plans of buildings in Hastings and Central Hawke's Bay areas.
Consists of 21 sheets bound in hard backed book type, of buildings in Hastings.
The inside cover has a key to signs and terminology used through out the book.
1) Titled - Key to block plans.
Consists of of a street plan of Hastings Central Business District showing the area from Heretaunga Street East, St Aubyn street East to Tomoana Road and Charles street.
2) Plan of Dannevirke by the Wellington Fire and Accident Underwriters. The plan shows the fire board boundary.
3)Sketch map of Havelock North showing different tariff areas. Two inter office memos attached, dated October 1964, written by G Hawke enquiring what tariff various areas fall under.
4) Sketch map of Hastings Central Business District showing that most of the area to be tariff D.
5) Sketch map of Te Awanga - 10 May, 1963, showing the area to be E tariff.
6) Block No 1. Plan of Queen street East and the avenue Road East area.
7) Block No 2. Plan of Heretaunga Street East, Russell street area. The state Theatre is on Queen street.
