Brief Description
Overseas 1950 by Leo Bestall. Diaries in 3 duplicate books detailing a trip to England and Europe. Outward journey was aboard the Rangitane. Diaries cover the period April 23 to December 3, 1950. The diaries are numbered from 1, 2 and 3 to indicate their chronological order on either the cover or interior of the cover. Inserted between pages 43 to 44 are typed pages of notes titled Netherwood Manor, Tenbury, Worcester. The passing of a famous estate. The pages are the carbon copies and so the writing is blue.
