Brief Description
Diary titled 'Overseas 1950' by Leo Bestall. Details trip to England and Europe. Outward journey aboard the Rangitane. Diary covers the period 23 April 1950 to 3 December 1950. Contained in a blue ring binder with the title handwritten on the front. Loose inside are: a copy of a print of Bestall's father; a pamphlet for the 1955 British Museums Association Annual General Meeting; and a letter on Hawke's Bay Club letterhead from Q R Bendall dated 21 December 1950 thanking Bestall for giving Overseas 1950 to them to read.
