Brief Description
Kodak branded photograph album displaying 24 images depicting the devastation in Napier and Hastings caused by the Hawke's Bay earthquake. An inscription on the inside cover reads: Smithy from Tom, 3.2.1931. An accompanying letter written by Tom includes notes describing each image and states that the Hastings photographs were taken immediately after the first shake.
There are two extra photographs loose in the back of the album; one is a duplicate and the other shows Dr Moore's Hospital.
