About this object
The photograph shows the Club Hotel, Marine Parade, Napier which was not damaged by the devastating effects of the 3 February 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake. Underneath the photograph Ernest Sinclair has written: Club Hotel. Our home after leaving tents at Nelson Park.
The Health Inspectors were housed in the Club Hotel for the interim duration of their employment following the earthquake.
