The letter informs Donald McLean that there will be 28 tons of water and 18 tons of pressed hay on board the Margarethe Roesner for shipping sheep from Napier to Otago. Bethune & Hunter have had to pay Captain Eggers two hundred pounds and that he will get one hundred pounds in Napier and one hundred pounds in Otago.
