About this object
Henry Lawton and a female passenger seated on a gig. Lawton & Son, Clive, was a large carting business and were also wood and coal merchants. The Lawton's were one of the early families in West Clive and had a large depot and house in Ferry Road, down a small lane alongside the Presbyterian Church.
