About this object
The Clive Public Hall, Library, Reading Room and Gymnasium was opened on 28th April 1908. Unfortunately it would burn down on the 1st of February 1931. The Hall was replaced in 1933 (with the current Hall, on the same site) but the library, which had contained some 13,000 books, was discontinued.
