About this object
Patterson, Mossman & Co started a creamery in Clive, circa 1910, building a factory at 158 Main Road. The business was taken over by H I Simson, and then Hartstone & Co. who converted the factory into a cheese factory. The factory was subsequently converted into a cidery, the Clive Cidermill and after the cidery closed, A G Gray used the site to make fibrous plaster.
