Brief Description
Programme for the production of the play, The Solid Gold Cadillac, written by George S. Kaufman and Howard Techman. The production was directed and designed by Richard Campion, assisted by George Webby and Jan Prain. Cast includes Ngaire Porter as Miss L'Arriere, and Raymond (Ben) Hawthorne. The play was narrated by Selwyn Toogood.
The play was the first professional theatre production to feature local actress Nyree Dawn Porter with the New Zealand Players.
