Brief Description
Sketches and preparatory information relating to the subdivision and sale of the Flemington Estate, near Wanstead.
a) Manuscript
Copy of Native Land Court Order NA MB69/375, presiding Judge J Gilfedder, dated Hastings, 19/4/21. Order notes the various partition block acreage and to whom it had been awarded. Instruction to the surveyor includes providing for a road along the western boundary to give access to existing road. Order notes Rochfort and Son nominated to complete the survey.
b) Manuscript
Handwritten sheets of paper with figures arranged in column form of traverse measurements and bearings, and sketched bearing diagrams with calculations.
c) Plans
Tracing sheets of existing survey plans, to assist with the preparation of the subdivision plans.
d) Plan
Tracings of an original plan identified as W Hubbard's Selection Waikare (Taylor's Run), dated October 1837. Plan face is stamped with Moeangiangi, which is the name of the station where land is situated. Appears unrelated to other material.
