About this object
The bride, groom, best man - Lieutenant R Ryan of HMS Diomede, and guests are pictured at the wedding reception for Miss Nancy Russell, daughter of Mrs and Mrs Harold Russell, and Lieutenant Henry Holmes, RN of HMS Philomel. The reception was held at Little Flaxmere, family property of the bride's father. The marriage took place at St Matthew's Church, Hastings on 22 April 1931.
