About this object
A large crowd is pictured on the platform at Dannevirke railway station. Two men walk along the track and two men on the platform above them carry musical instruments. One man is dressed in military uniform and some men wear armbands. Youngsters stand above the crowd as they hold onto the station signpost. A group of spectators stand on the balcony of a large building in the background. A flag flies from a flagpole indicating the group may be waiting for a royal visitor.
