About this object
Two people are pictured standing outside the premises of Joe Tos [Tos Joe], Fruiterer & Confectioner and General Store, Hastings. One person is likely to be the owner. The building was damaged in the 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake but remains standing. Parts of the building are boarded up with corrugated iron. Timber, corrugated iron and rubble lie in front of and beside the building. The premises of Magnus Motors Limited can be seen at left.
