About this object
The image shows an unidentified fireman standing alongside Napier Fire Brigade No. 2 fire engine outside the Municipal Baths on Marine Parade, Napier.

The building has damage to the masonry on the façade. Debris lies on the footpath and in the gutter. The engine is pumping water from the baths which sustained damage during the 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake.
