About this object
Photograph of two steam powered traction engines transporting a house along a road. Several men are visible in the picture which has been taken during a break in the relocation of the building. The rear Fowler traction engine belonged to Jimmy [James] Newrick and Frederick Newrick.

Part of a collection of glass plate negatives held by Malcolm Newrick's family. The photograph was possibly taken by Malcolm's younger brother Frederick Charles Newrick, who worked as a professional photographer.
