About this object
The image shows a view at the western end of Tennyson Street and the corner of Milton Road, Napier.
There is a yard with timber, cylinders and reclaimed items in the centre of the image. Signs advertise the Central Store dairy and an optician. Craven Terrace is visible in the background on Hospital Hill. Behind the timber yard a house appears to have sustained damaged from a landslide on the hillside behind it. The damage may have occurred at the time of the 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake.
