About this object
Wide view of buildings at Hastings High School. Segregated groups of male and female students can be seen in the grounds, and to the right are several adults. The photograph is believed to have been taken on November 18th, 1925.
Previously known as Hastings Technical High School, the school moved to a new 20-acre site in Karamu Road South in 1925, and was officially reopened by Sir James Parr on March 3rd, 1926.
