Anna Elizabeth Jerome Spencer, known as Jerome by Women's Institute members and as Bessie amongst her family, demonstrating spinning at the New Zealand and South Seas International Exhibition in Dunedin. She is pictured with one hand on the spinning wheel and the other holding strands of wool.
