About this object
View of the living room inglenook at Glenalvon, Tikokino. The house was designed for E G Rathbone by Louis Hay in 1912. A fire screen guards the brick framed fireplace. The built-in seating features a stencilled flower motif, and a decorative floral design has been used for the stained glass panel on the right.
