Brief Description
Indenture contract between architect Charles Tilleard Natusch and James Augustus Louis Hay dated 12 October 1895. The term of apprenticeship is three years. Signed by Hay, Natusch, and witness J B Marshall, Surveyor, Land Office, Napier. At the bottom of the document is a handwritten and signed addendum, dated 16 October 1899, certifying that James Augustus Louis Hay served the above term and that he has also during the past twelve months acted as Natusch's assistant from time to time.
