About this object
Glass plate negative image of a bride and groom with their wedding party on the steps of a homestead. The bride's attendants wear matching Edwardian dresses, large hats and carry bouquets. The couple are Nina Tanner, daughter of Thomas Tanner and his wife Julia [née Denton], and Dudley Hill, son of Kenrick Hill and his wife Elizabeth [née French], who wed in 1905. Dudley is a member of the Hill family of Fernhill Station.
