About this object
Glass plate negative image of a group of adjoined buildings below a tree-lined cliff and beside the water's edge. The doors of the buildings are opened wide. Two of the buildings have chimneys. People and dogs stand or sit near the retaining wall beside the water. At left, a man stands on a jetty or ramp beside a boat shed. A dinghy is moored beside the building. The buildings are located at Poraiti and are associated with the Hill family of Fernhill Station.
