About this object
Glass plate negative image of holiday baches set below hills at Cape Kidnappers. The baches are associated with the Hill family of Fernhill Station. The doors of the baches are wide open and face the sea. A man and dog are visible near the base of the bank. At right is a building possibly constructed of raupō or flax.
