About this object
Glass plate negative image of Fernhill Station homestead by Mrs Nina Hill. Three children, a nursemaid and a dog are visible in front of the homestead.
Fernhill Station became the property of Captain Kenrick J Hill in 1893. In later years he leased it to his son Dudley who upon the death of his father became the owner in 1909. The homestead was built in 1887.
