About this object
Abstract bronze sculpture of the lower half of a female torso (waist to mid-thigh) with a gold apple on top of it, and a large leaf.

This is one of the artist's many works recalling the story of the Garden of Eden. It was designed specifically for display in Hastings with reference to Havelock North/Hastings as the ‘Fruit Bowl of New Zealand’.
