About this object
The glass plate negative image shows the grave of Emily Ellingham, wife of Alfred, who died 24th November 1918. The gravestone also bears an epitaph for the couple's son, World War One serviceman Private Claude Britten Ellingham, who was reported missing 6th August 1917.
