About this object
Photograph of flooding in the vicinity of Ohurakura on the Napier-Taupo road. Children are wading in the flood waters and a man with his trousers rolled up stands to one side. The date is probably April 1938; Te Pohue locals refer to this event as the Anzac Day flood.
