Brief Description
a) Letter from the Air Ministry in London to Mrs C Hamlin in Napier. It states that the departmental notification of death is usually accepted in place of a death certificate by the Principal Registry in Great Britain.
b) and c) Notification of Death (x2) certifying that NZ/437013 Sergeant Percy John Havelock Hamlin, Royal New Zealand Air Force, lost his life on active service on the seventeenth day of February, 1942, near Steeple Mordon, Cambridgeshire.
