Brief Description
Letter to Molly Hamlin from her brother, Private Henry Hamlin, 6 NZ Div, 2 NZEF, Middle East Forces, dated 1st April 1943.
Henry discusses religious matters; he has applied to enter the ministry. He spent an enjoyable night at Nellie's playing the piano. Unfortunately the piano at Lowry Hut needs repairing, and he thinks it a shame that "people in New Zealand pay into the patriotic fund and yet these pianos can't be fixed up." On his day off in Cairo he saw an excellent picture called Joan of Paris. Henry expects it will be at least three years before he and Ned are home again.
