Brief Description
Letter to Molly Hamlin from her brother, Private Henry Hamlin, 6 NZ Division, 2 NZEF, dated 19th January 1943. Written on YMCA letterhead and noted On Active Service. Henry discusses matters relating to family and friends and makes reference to Napier Post office where he and Percy were employed before the war. He also talks of Christianity and the persecution suffered by Christians in a Muslim country.
