Brief Description
Photograph album relating to the Hamlin family of Napier. The album includes RNZAF (Royal New Zealand Air Force) aircraft images and aerial views. There is a newspaper cutting glued into the album titled: Forced Landing at Waikuku, dated February 22, 1940. Also included is a loose magazine cutting of before and after images of the Mohne Dam. A loose newspaper cutting from The Evening Post, Saturday, October 8, 1938 shows a photograph headed: Bombers and the Achilles and refers to a special exercise of the Wellington Territorial Squadron of the Air Force.
