About this object
Six black and white photographs in a wallet envelope advertising Bell and Howell photographic equipment. Printed on the front of the sleeve is a sketch of a woman with a 1940s hairstyle using a camera; on the back is a pictorial advertisement for Ferrania Cappelli film. Contents relate to the World War Two experience of Napier man Percy Hamlin. He is featured in a group image on the back of which is written: self, Robbie, Lilo, Copper, Bill. The caption on the back of an image of a ship reads: Cruiser escort we had for few days from Bermuda.
