Brief Description

Bound transcriptions of letters written by members of the Hamshar family between 1875 and 1922. The majority are from Fred Hamshar who emigrated to New Zealand on the Hudson in 1876 at age 14, joining his uncle James Hamshar at Waihua near Wairoa.
