Brief Description
McCall Company mail order catalogue advertising needlework, sewing, knitting and crochet patterns for clothing, soft toys and home decor items. Colour illustrations show how cross-stitch, smocking, appliqué and other embellishments can transform an outfit, a cushion or a kitchen towel. Decorative motifs include Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse.
Loose inside the book are various printed and copied embroidery transfers, and an undated booklet with knitting patterns for afghans and tea cosies.
