Brief Description
Aerogram letter from Mr A Wilson, Olrig Station, to Mr Nelson Smith c/o Bank of New Zealand in London. Mr Wilson is most likely a farm worker on the estate. He acknowledges receipt of letters from Mr Nelson Smith and writes of his sister's delight at the family's visit. He reports that his wife broke her wrist after slipping on the back steps in a hard frost, and that she is suffering the flu as well. Mr Wilson's rheumatism has been bad. The cats are okay and the budgies are still alive. He reports on the state of the garden, and the lawn next to the tennis courts, before signing off.
It is difficult to read the postmark date, but the postage stamp was issued in 1938.
