Christmas card received by Henrietta Brady of Clive during World War One. The card is printed with: Wellington Mounted Rifles Regiment on Active Service, Palestine, Xmas 1918.
Inside right has a printed greeting and three logos: Queen Alexandra's 2nd W.W.C. Mtd Rifles, Ake Ake Kia Kaha; 6th Manawatu Mounted Rifles; and a rampant stallion above the motto Fortes Fortuna Juvat (Fortune favours the bold).
Inside left has a message: Richon, Palestine, 19 October 1918, To Hett and all at home, from Roy McKay.
Displayed in an album compiled by Henrietta Brady.
