Photograph postcard showing a group of New Zealand soldiers at Hornchurch convalescent camp, Essex, England.
Sent to Henrietta Brady of Clive from her cousin Peter Brady who served with the New Zealand Army Expeditionary Force in World War One.
Dated July 20, 1917
Message reads: My dear Hett, Now Hett this is a rough photo but it was only taken for a joke, by one of the boys. I am not writing a book on this card, and intend writing (?) week. This is just to let you know that I am still alive and kicking hoping all the people are in the same boat around your (?), from your loving cousin Peat.
