Brief Description
An album of postcards, photographs and greeting cards (Christmas, New Year, Birthday) compiled by Henrietta Brady (also known as Hetty or Het) of East Clive. Correspondence is mainly addressed to Hetty from various family members and friends.
The album includes postcards and photographs relating to World War One - many from Hetty's cousin Peter (Peat) Brady and friend James (Jim) Hellyer; New Zealand scenic photographic postcards, and cards portraying popular actresses and singers of the time: Julia Nielson, Sybil Arundale, Zena Dare, Lettice Fairfax, Mabel Love, Rosie Boote, Nora (Norah) Greenwood, Marie Studholme, Constance Collier, Maud Jeffries, Billie Barlow.
