About this object
The slide shows the New Zealand Railways (NZR) float on the side of the road on Marine Parade where the 1958 Hawke's Bay Centennial procession took place in Napier. The float is number 130. Two men in uniform stand in front of the float looking towards the camera, while four spectators look in the opposite direction, and a person rides past on a bicycle. Four houses with Victorian gables sit on the hill above; one of them is a lodge or boarding house.
