View from Mount Turangakumu at the summit of the Napier-Taupo road, looking towards Taupo and the Waipunga River. The photograph is thought to have been taken in 1951 or 1952, commissioned by Brian David Marshall, proprietor of the Summit Kiosk tearooms 1950-54. The image appears to be hand coloured.
