Brief Description
a) Ancient Order of Foresters Court Heretaunga Minute Book, January 1931 - June 1936. A card attached to the front page displays the Initiation Fee and Contributions for Male and Female Members' respectively, and various Benefits. There is a calendar for the year 1935 glued to the back of the book.
b) Ancient Order of Foresters Subsidiary High Court of New Zealand Member's Clearance form dated 1st February 1934, allowing Donald McAlister Priest to transfer his membership from Court Ruahine to Heretaunga. Attached to the front of the form is a handwritten note from D.M. Priest dated 24 February 1934, addressed to AOF Heretaunga Lodge, Hastings. Page 20 of the above Minute Book records the initiation of D.M. Priest.
