Probably taken on the 2 December 1960. The ships in port are as follows (top to bottom): Napier based coaster Pakura at Higgins East (in port 1-5 December 1960). Port Haliifax berthed at Higgins West (in port 28 November to 3 December 1960 loading meat, wool and general for the USA). Vingrom discharging phosphate from Nauru at Geddis East (in port 26 November to 3 December 1960). Tyrone at Herrick East loading wool and general for the UK (in port 29 November to 2 december 1960). Galway at Herrick West also loading wool and general for the UK (in port 1-5 December 1960).

This photo would probably have been taken on the 2/12/1960 Ships in port are as follows (top to bottom): Napier based coaster Pakura at Higgins East in port from 1-5/12/1960. She arrived 2130 so the photo would have to have been taken after that. Port Halifax berthed at Higgins West. In port from 28/11-3/12/1960 loading meat, wool and general for the USA. Vingrom discharging phosphate from Nauru at Geddis East. In port 26/11-2/12/1960. Cape Horn at Geddis West loading wool for Europe. In port 26/11-3/12/1960. Tyrone at Herrick East loading wool and general for the UK. In port 29/11-2/12/1960. Galway at Herrick West also loading wool and general for the UK. Owned by the same company as Tyrone which named their vessels after Irish counties. In port 1-5/12/1960
