The glass plate negative shows an unidentified Māori family posing for a photograph in front of a building at Moawhango on the Napier-Taihape Road. In Album 27 there is a contact print taken from the glass plate negative. Underneath the photograph is written: Natives at Moawhango, 28/12/90.
