About this object
The glass plate negative shows two men standing on top of a rocky outcrop of the Te Waka Range near Te Pohue. A fence runs up to the top of the range.
In Album 27 there is a contact print taken from the glass plate negative. Underneath the photograph is written: Highest peak. Waka Range. 33559 foot above sea level.
