About this object
The image from the glass plate negative shows the end of a railway line surrounded by bush. At the end of the line is a rail trolley. In and beside the trolley are pick-axes, an axe and a shovel.
In Album 27 there is a contact print taken from the glass plate negative. Underneath the photograph is written: Maharahara Copper Mine.
