About this object
The photograph shows the unveiling of a memorial at Houngarea Marae, Pakipaki. People, including Catholic priests, surround the memorial from which the cloth has been removed. Korowai (cloaks) are draped on the plinth. Framed images have been placed against the memorial.
The photograph has been scanned from a glass plate negative.
