The photograph shows a group of firemen, posing on, and by two fire engines, in front of the Fire Station. One of the firemen is holding a dog. The name, Havelock North, can be partially seen on the door of the station. The photograph has been scanned from a glass plate negative.

Photographer, unidentified however the person is possibly Russell Duncan.
