The photograph shows a playground at Clive Grange, Haumoana beside the Tukituki River.

Clive Grange became a popular recreational and camping spot with Hastings residents in the 1900s. A child is being pushed on a swing by a man. Three men and a motor bike can be seen in the background. The photograph has been scanned from a glass plate negative.

Photographer, unidentified however the person is probably Russell Duncan.
